PENNSYLVANIA WON SOCCER

The University association football team lost to the University of Pennsylvania team by the score of 5 to 2 in a fast match played at Moorestown, N. J., Saturday afternoon. Harvard started the game well, but found difficulty in playing up-hill and against a strong wind. The first period ended in Pennsylvania's favor, score 2 to 1. Tired out by 45 minutes of hard play, the University team was able to pass the Pennsylvania defence only once in the second half, while its opponents, largely through the brilliant work of McPhee, who scored three goals in the period. McPhee, who scored four times, was the individual star of the game. Greene, Needham and Rushmore played well for Harvard.

Game With Haverford Today

The University team will play its fourth intercollegiate league game this afternoon, when it meets Haverford at Haverford, Pa. Haverford won the intercollegiate championship last year, and has done well in this spring's league series.
