Matches played in the trials for the University tennis team yesterday afternoon resulted as follows: O. Williams '14 defeated A. J. Lowrey '13, 6-4, 6-2; S. Minot '13 defeated C. J. North '14, 6-1, 6-3; J. R. Pratt '12 defeated R. Tunis '13, 6-4, 6-1; A. M. Hyde '12 defeated G Sturgis '13, 6-3, 6-3; G. M. Rushmore '13 defeated T. Buel '13, 6-1, 6-1.

The following matches are to be played on Jarvis Field this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock: O. Williams '14 vs. S. Minot '13, G. M. Rushmore '13 vs. A. M. Hyde '12, L. I. Grinnell '12 vs. H. G. Smith '13, T. B. Lewis '13 vs. W. Faulkner '14, E. H. Woods '14 vs. R. Tunis '13, G. K. Baker '14 vs. A. J. Lowrey '13, J. C. Devereux '14 vs. G. B. Kayser '14. Men who fall to appear within a half hour of the time scheduled will be defaulted. Winners must report scores at the CRIMSON office before 6 o'clock.
