Tennis Trials on Jarvis Field

The following matches in the trials for the University tennis team are to be played on Jarvis Field this afternoon:

At 3 o'clock- A.M. Hyde '12 vs. G. Sturgis '13, R. Tunis '13 vs. J.R. Pratt '12, C.J. North '14 vs. S. Minot '13, H.S. McKee '13 vs. L.1. Grinnell '12, T. Buel ''13 vs. G.M. Rushmore '13, A.J. Lowrey '13 vs. O. Williams '14, E.H. Woods '14 vs. G.K. Baker '14.

At 3.30 o'clock- W. Faulkner '14 vs. H.G. Smith '13.

At 4 o'clock-J. C. Devereux '14 vs. G.B. Kayser '14.

Men failing to appear within a half hour of the time scheduled will be defaulted. Winners are to report scores on the card provided for the purpose in the CRIMSON office before 6 o'clock.

Until the courts on the South side of Jarvis Field are resurfaced and ready for use, the other courts can be retained for but one hour, instead of an hour and a half. Six of the courts which are being resurfaced with a mixture of stone dust and clay will probably be ready to open this week. The courts on Soldier Field will be opened tomorrow.
