The trial matches for the University golf team which were held at Oakley and at Brae Burn yesterday afternoon resulted as follows:

At Oakley.--F. V. Burton '14, defeated E. B. Allen '14, 3 up and 1 to play; F. C. Baker '12 and F. Sargent '14 defeated F. C. Davidson '12, and R. V. N. Gambrill '14, 1 up.

At Brae Burn.--B. W. Estabrook '14 defeated S. E. Elliott '14, 6 up and 4 to play; J. G. McNeil '13 defeated C. N. Holman '13, 7 up and 5 to play.

The following matches will be played today:

At Oakley: C. E. Miller '14 vs. G. Baker '14; at Brae Burn: J. G. McNeil '13 vs. W. V. Booth, Jr., '13. Matches will start as near 2 o'clock as possible.
