The trial matches for the University golf team which were held at Oakley and at Brae Burn yesterday afternoon resulted as follows:

At Oakley.--E. W. Rogers '13 defeated E. B. Allen '14, 3 up and 1; F. T. Clark '12 defeated R. Bowser '13, 2 up; F. C. Davidson '12 defeated F. Sargent '14, 4 up and 3.

At Brae Burn.--F. C. Baker '12 defeated B. W. Estabrook '14, 3 up and 1; F. V. Burton, Jr., '14 defeated J. G. MeNeil '13, 3 up and 2.

The following matches will be played today:

At Oakley.--E. B. Allen '14 vs. H. G. Morse '14, C. Judson '14 vs. F. Sargent '14, F. C. Davidson '12 vs. C. J. Chamberlain '13, W. V. Booth, Jr., '13 vs. P. W. Dunbar '12, C. E. Miller '14 vs., E. S. Giles '13.

At Brae Bura.--B. W. Estabrook '14 vs. T. Frothingham '13, J. G. MeNeil '13 vs. C. N. Holman '13. Matches will start as near 2 o'clock as possible. Candidates who have not yet reported should leave their names with F. Sargent, Claverly 16.
