Candidates for Former Team Called Out Today.--Tennis Players Should Hand in Names by 6.

Trials for the University golf team begin today and will continue during the next two weeks. The following men play today at Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton: F. V. Burton '14 vs. J. G. McNeil '13; F. C. Baker '15 vs. B. W. Estabrook '14. The following play at Oakley Country Club, Belmont: R. Bowser '13 vs. F. T. Clark '12; F. C. Davidson '14 vs. F. Sargent '14; C. Judson '14 vs. C. E. Miller '14; E. L. Rogers '13 vs. E. B. Allen '14. Matches will start as near 2 o'clock as possible. Candidates who have not yet reported should leave their names with F. Sargent, Claverly 16.

Entries Close Tonight.

The trials for the University tennis team will begin tomorrow. All members of the Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes wishing to compete should hand in their names to H. G. Smith '13, 1727 Cambridge street, or at the Athletic Office, before 6 o'clock today.

Four members of last year's team are available this year: Captain C. S. Cutting '12, L. I. Grinnell '12, A. J. Lowrey '13, and J. R. Pratt '12. In addition to these men all the members of the 1914 class team, which for two years has won the class championship will be eligible. This includes J. C. Devereux, E. R. Hastings, G. B. Kayser, E. H. Whitney, O. Williams and E. H. Woods. Whitney is the present Intercollegiate tennis champion. Other members of the University squad last year who are promising candidates for the 1912 team are: F. C. Gray '12, A. M. Hyde '12, N. E. Paine, Jr., '13, H. G. Smith '13 and R. Tunis '13
