The free lectures in this year's series at the Harvard Medical School come home so closely to all of us that it is a pity that they cannot be printed inexpensively and distributed where they will do the most good. Men of national standing in medicine and surgery have spoken many words of wisdom in these Sunday talks; that the people appreciate them was seen in the overflowing attendance at Dr. Joel Goldthwaite's lecture last Sunday. No better health text-book for the layman haws over been written than could be made up from these inspiring talks.
