SOCCER CANDIDATES REPORT

First Practice of Season, Delayed by Weather, will be Held Today.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University association football team will hold the first practice of the season on Soldiers Field today at 3 o'clock. All candidates should report without fail, as the continued cold weather has already delayed practice.

For the first few days, the candidates will be taught the fundamental principles of the game, by black-board talks, and practice on the field. To facilitate coaching, the squad will be divided into two groups, in one of which will be placed candidates for positions on the line, in charge of Captain Byng; in the other, candidates for positions in the backfield, under the supervision of E. L. Barron '13.
