Dr. Paul Shorey '78, Ph.D., LL.D., Professor of Greek in the University of Chicago, will deliver the fifth of the Lane lectures on "Life and Letters at Athens" in Emerson D this evening at 8 o'clock. His subject will be "Demosthenes and the Lost Cause."

Dr. Shorey is covering the era of Greek literature, art, and philosophy at Athens from the age of Pericles to Alexander. The lecture is open to the public.
