Dr. Paul Shorey '78, Ph.D., LL.D., professor of Greek at the University of Chicago, will deliver the third of the series of Lane lectures on "Life and Letters at Athens" in Emerson D this evening at 8 o'clock. His subject will be "The Case of Euripides."

Dr. Shorey discusses the various writers and leaders of the periods of Greek culture. An interesting narrative is presented, especially since he places emphasis on the resemblances and not the differences between that age and the present. The lecture will be open to the public.
