In a recent match the University rifle team defeated Pennsylvania and Wisconsin 939 to 917 and 918 respectively. This is the best score ever recorded by a Harvard rifle team. A. C. Gosse '12 made a total of 191; C. B. Long '13, 190; H. A. Von Wedelstaedt, 189; E. P. Carver '13, 185; and W. B. Harris '13, 184.

The team has still one more league match with the United States College of Veterinaries and Surgeons tonight, and if this results in a victory for the University, the team will be tied for second place in the league. Shoots with Technology and Cornell have been arranged for later dates.
