The Sophomore class will hold the first of a series of three smokers in the Dining Room of the Union tomorrow evening from 8 until 10.30 o'clock. Light refreshments will be served and a quartet from the class will sing. A professional entertainer has also been engaged. It was decided to hold these smokers in place of the usual class dinners, which have not been very successful in the past few years. The hour has been arranged so that all members of the class should be able to attend, for a short time at least. The second smoker will be held in April and the last toward the end of May. These smokers will be managed by the committee, which is composed of the following men: W. T. Gardiner, G. F. Plimpton, G. Bettle, W. A. Barron, Jr., W. H. Chatfield, K. Reynolds, D. J. P. Wingate, and L. H. Mills.
