8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Delegates from all the universities and colleges that are members of the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America met at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York yesterday afternoon. C.C. Little '10, captain, and L. Little '10, manager, of the University track team, represented Harvard.
The executive committee recommended the readmission of Colgate and the admission of Wesleyan and Rutgers to the Association. It was also proposed to change the date of the intercollegiate cross-country run from the third to the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. These questions will be decided at the annual meeting of the Association February 26.
The returns from the intercollegiate meet were announced to be $5559, the largest profits since the Association was formed. The decision was made to hold the annual field sports in Philadelphia this year.
