Freshman Debate Subject Chosen

The subject for the Freshman triangular debate has been announced as follows: "Resolved, That the initiative and referendum should be generally adopted in the American states." This was decided upon by the executive committee of the Intercollegiate Triangular Debating Council at a recent meeting at which L. A. Mahoney '13 represented the University Debating Council.

The debate will be held early in May. The Freshman negative team will speak against the Yale freshmen in Cambridge, while the affirmative team will go to Princeton.
