Editor to Speak in "Progressive Movement" Series on Friday.

Mr. William Allen White, a journalist of Emporia, Kan., and the editor of the Emporia Daily and the Weekly Gazette, will deliver the fifth of a series of lectures on the Progressive Movement, in Emerson D, on Friday, at 8.15 o'clock. The special topic of his lecture will be "Concerning Certain Demagogues." Mr. White, besides being a prominent editor, has written a number of popular books, chief among which are "A Certain Rich Man," "In Our Town," and "The Real Issue." This lecture is given under the auspices of a committee of the Faculty and is open to all members of the University.
