The University relay teams will run against Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the fourth annual indoor games of the Armory Athletic Association of Rhode Island to be held in the Providence Armory, Cranston street, Providence, tomorrow evening. The long distance team, on which each man will run 704 yards, will be composed of W. H. Fernald '12, T. W. Koch '14, B. M. Preble '12, and H. M. Warren '13. W. A. Barron, Jr., '14, R. G. Huling '13, F. J. O'Brien '14 and K. Reynolds '14 will form the short-distance team, and each will run 352 yards.
A year ago Harvard defeated Technology in the long distance race, but lost the shorter relay. Judging from the way that the University runners defeated both of the Technology teams in New York on Saturday evening, both races should this year go to Harvard.
In addition to the relay teams the following men have been entered from the University and Freshman track squads: 50-yard hurdles, P. M. Rice '15, C. H. Tilton '15; running high jump, J. B. Camp '15, A. W. Moffat '13; 16-pound shot-put, R. B. Batchelder '13, H. R. Hardwick '15, F. H. Leslie '12. The men will depart for Providence on a special train, leaving the South Station tomorrow afternoon at 4.15 o'clock. A special train will return from Providence at 11 o'clock.
