YALE WON WRESTLING BOUTS

Inexperience Largely Responsible for Loss of Every Match at New Haven Last Night.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University wrestling team lost to Yale at New Haven last evening, Yale taking all the bouts. The team made a much better showing than the result would indicate. Awards were necessary to decide four of the seven bouts.

The chief weakness of the University men seemed to be a lack of experience, and this was largely responsible for their defeat.

The summary:

115 pounds--Ingraham defeated H. W. Bradley '12, in 7 minutes, 47 seconds; 125 pounds--Nute defeated H. B. Good-friend '14, by award in 6 minutes; 135 pounds--Colver defeated J. Murdoch 1G.S. in 6 minutes; 145 pounds--Little defeated W. R. Tyler '14, by award in 9 minutes; 158 pounds--Avery defeated J. F.
