Gore Hall Practically Empty

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The removal of the office staff and equipment from Gore Hall has been completed, the contents of the Treasure Room alone remaining in the old building. The transfer of the valuable books in this room will probably be finished today or Monday, leaving the building ready for demolition.

It is not at present known when the work of construction of the Widener Memorial will actually begin, but it will probably be during the holiday period. The letting of the sub-contract for the work is in the hands of the head architect, Horace Traumbaeur, of Chicago who will have full supervision of the construction.
