The first and second University hockey teams held a 20-minute scrimmage in the Arena yesterday, the first winning 3 to 2. The second team was, however, the aggressor during the greater part of the time and, displaying good team-work, the forwards penetrated the first team's defence frequently. Yesterday's practice was the last until January 1, when the team will resume practice at the Arena.
The line-ups were as follows: Goals--Sortwell, 2; Gorham; Palmer; Phillips.
