For the benefit of those who will remain in Cambridge during the Christmas recess, the following list of regulations concerning the more important buildings is given:

Memorial Hall.--Closed during the recess. Members may transfer to Foxcroft Hall.

Foxcroft Hall.--Following are the meal hours throughout the recess: breakfast, 8.15 to 9.35 o'clock; luncheon, 12.30 to 1.35 o'clock; dinner, 5.30 to 6.35 o'clock. On Christmas Day, breakfast will be served as usual, and there will be a special dinner from 1 until 2.15 o'clock. There will be no evening meal. The service is a la carte, and any member of the University may eat there without the payment of the usual membership fee.

Appleton Chapel.--Morning prayers will be discontinued during the recess. There will, however, be the usual Sunday services on December 22 and December 29. At the former, Reverend Professor John Winthrop Platner, A.M., D.D., professor of history in the University and the Andover Theological Seminary, will preach, and at the latter Professor Albion Woodbury Small, Ph.D., LL.D., of Chicago, Ill.

Phillips Brooks House.--Open from 8 to 12 o'clock in the morning except on Sundays and January 1. A University tea will be held in the Parlor on December 27 from 4 to 6 o'clock. On the evening of Christmas Day, a festival will be given from 6.45 until 10 o'clock much like that held at Thanksgiving. It will be open to all members of the University remaining in Cambridge whether members of the Brooks House Association or not.

Co-operative Society Store.--The Co-operative store will be closed from December 27 to January 1 inclusive for the semi-annual stock-taking.

Hemenway Gymnasium.--The Gymnasium will be open daily from 9 to 6 o'clock except on Sundays and Christmas Day.

Laboratories.--The Boylston chemical laboratory will be open from 8 to 5 o'clock daily, except on Christmas Day, when it will be closed all day, and on December 21, 28, and January 1, when it will close at 12 o'clock noon. Only students doing advanced work under the personal direction of an instructor, however, will be allowed use of the building. The Dane Hall chemical laboratory will be closed during the entire recess, except to those students given keys. The Jefferson physical laboratory will be open daily at the usual hours, except on Christmas Day, to students engaged in advanced work.

Law School Reading Rooms.--The Langdell Hall Reading Rooms will be open during the recess from 9 to 4 o'clock except Saturdays, when they will close at 1 o'clock, and Sundays and Christmas Day, when they will be closed all day. Austin Hall will be closed.

Libraries.--Massachusetts Hall will be open until 5.30 o'clock daily except Sundays and Christmas Day. Books may be taken out at 4.30 o'clock, provided they are returned before 9 o'clock the following morning. Harvard Hall will be open from 9 until 5.30 o'clock, except Sundays and Christmas Day. The same hours apply to the delivery desk at Randall Hall.

Museums.--The various museums will be open as usual except on Christmas Day.

Pierce Hall.--The building, including the library, will be open daily from 9 to 5 o'clock, except on Christmas Day. On the Saturday before Christmas it will close at 1 o'clock.

Robinson Hall.--Open from 9 to 5 o'clock except on Sundays and Christmas Day, when it will be closed. The hours on Saturdays are 9 to 1 o'clock.

Union.--The Union will be open during the entire recess from 8 in the morning to 11 o'clock at night. The usual meals will be provided, and on Christmas Day a special dinner will be served at noon. The club house will be open to all members of the University on that day.
