Professor Hugo de Vries, of the University of Amsterdam, Holland, will give the second of a series of four lectures on "The Evolution of Plants" in Huntington Hall, 491 Boylston street, Boston, this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The subject for this particular lecture will be "Horticultural Plant Breeding." It is open to the public, and no charge is made for admission.
