The Navy won from the Army at Philadelphia Saturday by the score of 6 to 0. Both teams displayed a stubborn defensive power which the unvaried line-plunging tactics of the opposing eleven could not penetrate. The winning points were scored in the last five minutes of play as the result of two goals from placement by Brown, each goal being the indirect result of a West Point fumble.
Chicago High School Defeated Everett.
The Oak Park team of Chicago defeated Everett Saturday 32 to 14 in a remarkably well played high school football game. The difference in the style of play used in the East and West was well illustrated, Oak Park playing, an open game with many basket ball passes back of the line, and Everett straight line rushes varied only by forward passes and a few end runs.
