Cambridge Y. M. C. A. Defeated 25 to 16 in Practice Meet.

In a practice swimming meet with the Cambridge Y. M. C. A. in the Harvard tank last evening, Harvard won by the score of 25 to 16. The times, and plunge distances were not particularly good, although Cross of the Y. M. C. A. team did some excellent work. Victory in the relay race and plunge gave Harvard its only first places and the meet.

40-yard dash.--Won by Cross, Y. M. C. A.; second, R. C. Cowan '16; third, J. Wentworth '14. Time, 21 2-5s.

100-yard dash.--Won by Cross, Y. M. C. A.; second, B. M. Fullerton '16; third, F. S. Whitlock '16. Time, 1m., 4 4-5s.

220-yard swim.--Won by Paige of the Y. M. C. A.; second, J. A. Gilman '16; third, T. J. Putnam '15. Time, 3m., 1s.

Relay.--Won by Harvard in 1m., 29 4-5s. Team: B. M. Fullerton '16, J. Wentworth '14, D. C. Watson '16, J. A. Gilman '16.

Plunge.--Won by J. Greenough '15, 54 ft.; second, W. J. Ball '13, 52.6 ft.; third, Hadley, Y. M. C. A., 45 ft.
