Professor Copeland will give a reading in the Dining Room of the Union this evening at 9 o'clock. Professor Copeland will begin with a brief address on "The Spirit of Christmas," and will then read selections from the works of Dickens, Stevenson, Thackeray, and Barrie, in keeping with the spirit of the season.
All who expect to attend the reading should apply in advance at the Union Office for tickets, since admission will be by card only. The number of seats is limited to about 400, and last evening over a third of them had been disposed of. No seats are reserved, the above regulation being adopted merely to prevent the customary overcrowding. The reading will be open only to members of the Union, who must show their cards when applying for tickets.
