The University hockey team will meet Technology in the Arena this evening at 8.15 o'clock in its first regular game of the season. Captain Gardner will be the only regular player out of the Harvard line-up, his place, at goal, being taken by Carnochan.
The Harvard defence is at present much farther advanced than the forward line and in the daily scrimmages it has proved very strong. The Technology defence on the other hand was very weak against the B. A. A. team a week ago, in which the Institute seven was defeated 7 to 1.
Reserved seats at $1 and 75 cents will be placed on sale at Leavitt & Peirce's this morning at 9 o'clock. They may also be obtained at the Arena during the day.
The Harvard line-up will be as follows: l.e., Hopkins; l.c., Sortwell; r.c., Phillips; r.e., Morgan; c.p., Claflin; p., Willetts; g., Carnochan.
