Gift from Professor Loeb '83

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

By the will of the late Professor Morris Loeb '83, of the New York University Faculty, Harvard University will receive $500,000 at the death of Mrs. Loeb, the sum to be devoted to the advancement of physics and chemistry. In making the bequest to the University the testator says it is to be used for the above purpose "in other ways than by the payment of fellowships, scholarships, or other direct emoluments to students." The remainder of the estate of something over $1,000,000 will be devoted to public bequests.
