Signal Drill and Scrimmage at Yale.

New Haven, Conn., Nov. 20, 1912.--The football squad started work on Yale Field this afternoon with a thorough signal practice, which was followed by a 20-minute scrimmage. The university scored 12 points on touchdowns by Markle and Pumpelly. No goals were kicked, and no long runs made, straight football being the only kind in evidence. Drill in punting, catching punts and drop-kicking occupied the remainder of the afternoon. A large number of undergraduates were at the held.
