Craig Prize in Dramatic Composition Awarded to S. F. Ballard, A.M. 1911, for Play in Four Acts.

The Craig Prize in Dramatic Composition for this year has been awarded to Mr. John Fredrick Ballard, of Nucla, Colo., A.M. 1911, a second year student in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in 1911-12, for a play in four acts entitled "Believe me, Xantippe." By the terms of this prize Mr. Ballard as the successful competitor is awarded $250 and is promised a production of the play within a stated time. In addition the Harvard University Library is given $250 for the purchase of books on the history of the English stage.
