The first Freshman squad turned out in force for football practice yesterday afternoon. Neither Lyman nor Watson who were injured in Saturday's game were disabled, and McKinlock, who was out last week on account of sickness, was on the field in football clothes, and will be in the scrimmage tomorrow.
Coach Gardiner gave the men a short blackboard talk commenting on the Worcester game, and describing some new formations which the squad later tried out on the field. A short practice at drop-kicking preceded a very thorough signal drill for both the first team and the substitutes. Work ended with a few minutes at catching and running down under punts, a department of the game which promises to receive considerable attention before the week is out.
