Edward William Mahan, of Natick, has been elected captain of the Freshman football team. Mahan prepared at Andover where he played for two years on the school eleven. He has been playing fullback on the 1916 team since the beginning of the season. He is 20 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 168 pounds.
As a result of the recent Freshman football manager competition, Wells Blanchard '16 of Concord, Mass., and Samuel Morse Felton, Jr., '16, of Chicago, Ill., have been appointed manager and assistant manager respectively of the Freshman football team, subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee.
