The Athletic Committee among its other actions yesterday evening approved of the proposed dual track meet with Cornell in the spring. Although the Harvard and Cornell track teams have come together in numerous intercollegiate meets, they have never met in dual competition. Judging from the strength and versatility shown by the Cornell teams in past years, it is safe to predict that a dual track meet with that College will afford close and interesting competition. For this reason and also because of the close bond in athletic relations bound to result between the Universities, we shall welcome Cornell in the Stadium next spring.
