Raphael Altamira, Professor of General History of Spanish Common Law at the University of Oviedo, Spain, will deliver a lecture on "Literature as the Fountain of Spanish History" in Emerson D next Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. His lecture will be given under the auspices of Harvard University, the Club Espanola of Boston, and members of La Sociedad Espanola of the University.

Professor Altamira is one of the most celebrated European historians, a member of the Royal Academy of History, and one of the Civil Order of Alphonso XII.
