Stadium Bridge Act Passed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Boston City Council has passed an order accepting the act of the Legislature which authorizes the construction of the new Stadium Bridge. The expense of the Boston approach to the bridge, which, it is estimated, will reach $35,000, will be borne equally by the City of Boston and the Metropolitan Park Commission. A similar order came before the Cambridge City Council Tuesday night and was referred to the Committee on Highways. It will probably be reported to the Council next Tuesday night, and when passed will remove the last legal barrier to the construction of the bridge.
