The University and Freshman association football teams held their first practice under Captain Barron on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. About 50 candidates reported, a record number for the first day. After a light warming up practice, two 15-minute scrimmages were held. No regular line-up went on the field, but University and Freshman candidates were mixed up to make four teams and every man was given as much individual attention as possible.
