8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The Freshman hockey squad held a two-hour practice at the Brae Burn rink yesterday afternoon, about 50 candidates reporting. Although a few of the men who were in the vicinity of Boston had two scrub practices in the Arena during the Christmas recess, this was the first work on the ice for the whole squad.
To warm up the men were given a short shooting and skating drill, and Coach Pratt then tried out various sets of forwards and defences, giving each combination from 10 to 15 minutes' work. The material looked very promising for a good all-round team.
On account of the size of the squad it will be divided into two parts to facilitate handling. There will be no cut until all the men have been given a thorough trial. The apportionment of men to squads is given on the notice page.
