LECTURES ON TURBINES

Nine to be Given This Month by Professor Hollis, and Mr. Loewenstein of the General Electric Company.

Professor I. N. Hollis h.'99, of the Engineering Department, and Mr. L. C. Loewenstein of the General Electric Company will give a course of nine lectures on the steam turbine during the month of January, the first lecture to be given in Pierce 110 today at 12 o'clock. The lectures will cover the elements of the subject as well as practical applications of turbines and will in large part be illustrated by stereopticon views.

The eight remaining lectures will be given in Pierce 110 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until January 22. They will be open to members of the University and to the public.
