Fencing Team Prospects

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The fencing team is practicing under the direction of J. J. Leslabay of the French Army Fencing School at Joinville, in Hemenway Gymnasium on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons between 4 and 6.30 o'clock. The prospects for a successful team are fairly bright. Last year the team defeated West Point and qualified for the final round in the intercollegiate tournament. Captain G. B. Wilbur '12 is the only member of last year's team who is now in College. Several other men, however, including M. M. Boyd '13, H. N. Loomis '13 and F. R. Wulsin '13 form a good nucleus for a team for the coming season.
