Professor G. P. Baker '87, of the Department of English plans to be absent during the latter period of the mid-year examinations to deliver a series of lectures on dramatic literature and play writing. Professor Baker had planned to go to several cities in Texas but owing to the present epidemic of spinal meningitis in the South he will give up this part of his tour and will lecture only in Indianapolis, Buffalo, and Philadelphia.
