Three games of the scrub hockey series were played on the Stadium rink yesterday afternoon with the following results: the Hard Guys defeated the Hat-Shep-Suts, 1 to 0; the Internationals defeated the Prickly Heats, 4 to 0; the New Moons defeated the Fortune Hunters, 2 to 0. Provided there is ice, the last four games of the preliminary round will be played this afternoon. In order that the round robin may be started on Monday the winner of the game between the Nevertrains and Easy Marks will have to play two games today. The schedule of games is as follows: at 2.45 o'clock, Whiffenpoofs vs. New Moons; at 3.15 o'clock, Nevertrains vs., Easy Marks; at 3.45 o'clock, Internationals vs. Hot Stuffs, Arterial Artilleries vs. winner of Nevertrains vs. Easy Marks. One of the games scheduled at 3.45 will be played on the Freshman rink; the others on the other rink.
