Freshman Hockey Captain Elected

At a meeting of the Freshman hockey squad held last night, Morgan Brigham Phillips, of Newton Centre, was elected captain of the team. Phillips prepared at Milton Academy, where he played on the hockey team three years. He was captain during his last year.

The squad held an hour's practice in the Stadium rink yesterday afternoon. The regular forwards were tried out against the defence, and although the ice was poor, the team showed considerable improvement.

The line-up was as follows: l.e., Tapping; l.c., deWindt; r.c., Phillips; r.e., Winsor; c.p., Claflin; p., Handy; g., Washburn.
