The Junior Class will hold a smoker in the Dining Room of the Union on Friday evening at 9 o'clock. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the plans for Senior dormitories and their allotment. President Lowell will tell the class the advantages of the plan from the point of view of the University. The institution of the Senior dormitory scheme is one of the great constructive achievements of President Lowell's administration and its vital importance from the point of view of Harvard University will be explained.
Some personal advantages of the scheme as they appear to men who are now living in Senior dormitories will be pointed out by R. T. Fisher '12, and H. L. Gaddis '12. These speeches will make clear the importance of Senior dormitories to the University, the Class, and the individual.
The plan for allotment of rooms appeared in yesterday's CRIMSON. If any of its features are open to criticism, come to the smoker and criticize, the committee will be on hand to defend its scheme. If you are in doubt as to the advisability of living in the Yard at all, come to the smoker and have your troubles explained. Come to the smoker! 1913 SMOKER COMMITTEE.
