The University second team defeated Boston Latin School yesterday afternoon, by the score of 8 to 4 in a very slow game. Neither team played good ball, a total of 13 errors being made.
The runs made by the second team were mostly due to the timely hitting of Clifford, Winston and Tomes in both the third and seventh innings.
Second Team Leaves for Hanover.
The Second team will leave Harvard square this afternoon at 3.15 o'clock for Hanover, N. H., where they will play the Dartmouth freshman team tomorrow. The team will spend tonight at Concord going to Hanover in the morning. The following 13 men will make the trip: R. M. Blackall '12, I. C. Bolton '12, G. W. Chase '11, R. Clifford '12, M. Corcoran '11, E. C. Hardy '13, H. R. Howe '12, H. A. Sexton '11, J. L. Stebbins '12, A. H. Tomes '13, E. S. Winston '12, A. F. Winter '13, and Manager F. W. Hubbell '13.
