The second round of the University golf championship and the first round of the consolation tournament were played yesterday. The results were as follows:
Championship.--B. W. Estabrook '14 defeated F. T. Clark '12, 1 up in 19 holes; F. C. Davidson '12 defeated C. M. Amory '12, 4 up and 3 to play; P. M. Smith '11 defeated W. V. Booth '13, 1 up; D. C. Nugent, Jr., '11 defeated C. S. Weeks '14, 3 up and 2 to play.
Consolation.--F. Sargent '14 defeated A. M. Crosby 1G., by default; J. G. McNeil '12 defeated E. S. Giles '13, 4 up and 3 to play; F. C. Baker 1G defeated T. A. E. Harris '11 by default; C. Judson '14, defeated T. H. Frothingham '13, 1 up.
The following championship matches will be played today: Estabrook vs. Davidson, Smith vs. Nugent. Consolation: Sargent vs. McNeil, Baker vs. Judson.
