Harvard Crew Quarters, Red Top, New London, Conn., June 12, 1911.-Although the University and Freshman crew squads arrived here late this evening, the men were given a work-out on the Thames.

The two eights were sent out for a short row together with the second University four. Both crews went down to the Navy Yard in easy stretches, raising the stroke slightly on the last quartermile back to the boat-house. The University crew was a trifle unsteady going down-stream but soon got together and at the quickened stroke went strongly, spacing out well between the strokes. All the men are in good condition.
