The results of the trial matches for the University tennis, team played yesterday were, as follows; F. C. Gray '12, defeated R.J. Eaton '12, 6-1; Q. A. S. McKean '13 defeated H. G. Smith '13, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4; A. J. Lowrey '13 defeated N. E. Palne, Jr., '13, 6-2, 8-6; A. Richard '12, defeated H. A. Johnson '11, 6-4, 6-2.
Each afternoon the first two courts on Jarvis Field will be reserved for trial. To avoid confusion, a blue-book has been placed in Leavitt & Peirce's in which men should sign before noon the time at which them wish to play that afternoon.
