A. Sweetser 1G. and E. H. Whitney '14, who are both ineligible for the University tennis team, will meet the University of Minnesota tennis team on the courts of the Longwood Cricket Club this morning at 10.30 o'clock. The match is preliminary to the match with the University team tomorrow morning and is the first dual contest in which representatives of the two universities have met. The Minnesota team is considered to be very strong and has been on a long tour of the East, playing Yale, Pennsylvania, Williams, Princeton, and other teams. Sweetser, captain of last year's University team, has held the University championship for the last two years, while Whitney won the national interscholastic championship last summer and very nearly defeated Beals Wright in the semi-finals of the All-Comers at Newport.
