The annual 440-yard handicap race for the Wells Cup will be held in the Stadium this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The cup, which was presented in 1898 by S. G. Wells '86, is now held by G. P. Gardner, Jr., '10. It will become the permanent possession of anyone winning it four years in succession.
The following 19 men have entered and will be given handicaps at the field: W. B. Adams '13, A. A. Berle, Jr., '13, C. E. Boutelle '13, W. H. Fernald '12, J. R. Hunneman '14, G. N. Hurd '13, H. Jaques, Jr., '11, H. W. Kelley '11, H. P. Lawless '13, S. Nichols '13, W. A. Perkins '12, B. M. Preble '12, D. P. Ranney '12, R. H. Rowse '11, S. C. Simons '11, F. H. Storms '14, H. M. Warren '13, A. H. Whitman '11, L. M. Wright '14.
