DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
At a recent meeting of the Board of Overseers George Chandler Whipple, of the firm of Hazen & Whipple, sanitary engineers, New York, was appointed professor of Sanitary Engineering in the Graduate School of Applied Science. Mr. Whipple has accepted the position and his duties will begin with the academic year 1911-12.
In addition, the appointments of Associate Professor Charles Pomeroy Parker as full professor of Greek and Latin, and that of Assistant Professor Leo Wiener as full professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures, were confirmed.
