The new eight-oared shell presented to the University Boat Club by Walter Cabot Baylies '84 to replace that injured in transit from England, arrived yesterday. It will be rigged immediately, and after being christened tomorrow will be given a thorough trial by the University crew. The shell is from the shops of Sims & Sons, of Putney, England. The four-oared shell, made by the same firm, and presented by S. Shillito '79, will be shipped in the near future.
