In the round-robin tournament for the novice fencing championship of the University held in Hemenway Gymnasium yesterday afternoon, H. H. Loomis uC., took first place, winning seven bouts out of a possible seven. F. R. Wulsin '13 was second with six bouts. S. F. Damon '14 and C. E. Wilder '12 tried for third place, each having won four bouts out of the seven.
